Pet Hair Trimming Services in South Florida

Targeted trimming for the areas that need a little extra attention.

Keep your pet looking neat and feeling comfortable without scheduling a full haircut. Premier Pet Services offers targeted pet hair trimming for specific areas, perfect for face trims, paw pad hair, or hygiene areas.

Targeted Grooming Without a Full Haircut

Sometimes your pet doesn't need a complete groom. They simply need a few areas cleaned up.

Our Pet Hair Trim service focuses on specific areas where excess or overgrown hair may become messy, uncomfortable, or difficult to maintain. We tailor the trim to your pet's coat, needs, and tolerance while using gentle handling throughout the service.

This is especially useful between regular grooming appointments or for pets that only need minor maintenance.

How it Works?

Before Your Appointment

New clients: A Premier Pet Services team member will contact you to confirm appointment details and learn more about your pet, including temperament, handling considerations, relevant medical information or medications, and property/access instructions when applicable.

Existing clients: Please let us know if your pet's behavior, medical needs, grooming needs, address, or access information has changed.

If your pet has significant matting, skin irritation, wounds, or another condition affecting the area you want trimmed, tell us before the appointment so we can determine whether the requested grooming service is appropriate.

Common Hair Trim Areas

Face Trims

Careful trimming around appropriate areas of the face can help tidy overgrown hair and keep your pet looking neat between full grooming appointments.

Paw & Paw Pad Hair

Excess hair around or between the paw pads can collect dirt and debris. Targeted trimming helps keep the area neat and easier to maintain.

Frequently Asked Questions

What areas can you trim?

Pet Hair Trims are intended for targeted maintenance such as appropriate facial areas, paw and paw pad hair, hygiene areas, and other small areas that may need tidying. Tell us what you need when scheduling so we can determine the appropriate service.

Is a pet hair trim the same as a full haircut?

No. This service is intended for targeted areas rather than a complete haircut or major change to your pet's coat.

Can you trim the hair between my dog's paw pads?

Paw and paw pad hair can be included when appropriate for your pet.

Can I combine a hair trim with a bath?

Compatible grooming services can be combined when available. You can also explore our grooming packages if your pet needs several services.

What if my pet has mats?

Let us know before the appointment. Depending on the location and severity of the matting, De-Matting & Heavy Brushing or another grooming service may be more appropriate than a basic hair trim.

Can I show you how I want the area trimmed?

Yes. Providing clear instructions about the areas you'd like addressed helps us understand what you're requesting before the service begins.
