ome pets require more than a standard pet-care routine. Premier Pet Services provides compassionate, personalized care for pets with special needs, including medication administration, injections, special diets, mobility considerations, and individualized daily routines.
We work with pet parents to understand each pet's established care instructions so they can receive consistent support while you're away or need an extra helping hand.
Care Built Around Your Pet
Every special-needs pet is different. Some require medication at a specific time, while others may need carefully prepared meals, additional mobility assistance, closer observation, or a routine that needs to be followed consistently.Before care begins, we'll review your pet's needs, routine, medications, handling considerations, and instructions to determine how Premier Pet Services can appropriately support them.Our goal is to help maintain the established care routine you already have in place.

For appropriate pets and medications, injections may be administered according to established instructions after the care requirements have been reviewed and accepted by Premier Pet Services.

Meals can be prepared and provided according to your instructions, including established special diets, feeding schedules, portions, and preparation requirements.
Mobility Support
Additional assistance may be provided for pets that need more time, patience, or help navigating their everyday routine.
Individualized Routines
We can follow established routines involving feeding, potty breaks, rest, medication, handling, and other agreed care requirements.
Additional Observation
When caring for pets with additional needs, we can pay close attention to their behavior and routine and communicate relevant observations to you.
Medication Support
Consistency Matters
If your pet requires medication while in our care, we'll ask you to provide clear information about the medication, dosage, timing, administration method, storage requirements, and any relevant instructions. Medications should be supplied in their original labeled containers whenever applicable, with sufficient medication for the entire care period. Medication requests are reviewed before service begins to ensure we understand what is required and can appropriately accommodate the requested care.

Special Diets & Feeding Instructions
Pets with dietary requirements often depend on consistency.Whether your pet follows a veterinarian-directed diet, requires carefully measured portions, has food sensitivities, or simply has a specific established feeding routine, we'll follow the feeding instructions provided for their care. Pet parents should provide the necessary food, supplements, preparation instructions, and feeding supplies for the service period.
Support During Recovery
Pets returning home after a procedure or receiving ongoing veterinary care may have temporary changes to their normal routine.W hen appropriate, Premier Pet Services may be able to help pet parents maintain established at-home instructions, such as medication schedules, restricted routines, feeding requirements, potty breaks, and other non-veterinary care. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, alter treatment plans, provide veterinary rehabilitation, or replace veterinary care.
Care for Senior Pets
Special-needs care can overlap with senior care, but the two services should remain separate on your website. Senior pets may require slower routines, mobility considerations, medications, special feeding instructions, or additional patience during everyday activities. Before accepting special-needs care, we'll need to understand your pet's established routine and requirements.
This can include their medical or mobility considerations, medications and administration schedule, injection requirements, special diet, feeding instructions, behavioral or handling considerations, veterinary information, emergency contacts, and any other instructions relevant to providing their care.
Depending on the complexity of the care required, additional information or a meet-and-greet may be necessary before service can be confirmed.
New Special Needs Clients
For new clients, we may require a meet-and-greet before accepting care. This gives us an opportunity to meet your pet, discuss their routine, review medication or special-care requirements, and understand any handling considerations. Detailed intake information must be completed for each pet receiving care.
Your Veterinarian Remains Part of the Team
Premier Pet Services provides supportive pet care based on the established instructions supplied for your pet. We do not replace your veterinarian or independently make decisions about diagnosis, medication dosage, treatment, or changes to a prescribed care plan.
If a concerning change or emergency occurs while a pet is in our care, we follow the applicable emergency information and authorization provided by the pet parent.
Questions & Answers
Can you give my pet medication?
Premier Pet Services may be able to accommodate established medication routines depending on the medication, administration method, pet, and care requirements. Medication needs should be disclosed and reviewed before service is confirmed.
Can you administer injections?
Certain established injection routines may be accommodated after the requirements have been reviewed. Provide complete information about your pet's injection needs when requesting service.
Can you prepare a special diet?
Yes, established special diets and feeding routines can be followed using the food, supplies, portions, and preparation instructions provided by the pet parent.
Do you care for senior pets?
Yes. We can discuss your senior pet's individual routine and care requirements. We also have a dedicated Senior Pet Care service page for pets whose primary needs are related to their life stage.
Can you care for a pet recovering from a procedure?
Depending on the pet's needs and the care requested, we may be able to support established at-home routines. Premier Pet Services does not provide veterinary treatment, rehabilitation or physical therapy.
Do I need to provide my pet's medication?
Yes. Pet parents are responsible for supplying the medications and necessary instructions required during the service period.
Do you replace veterinary care?
No. Special Needs & Medication Support is a pet-care service and does not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency medical care.
